Tuesday Taggers ~ Christmas Carol

A bit late posting this, feeling pretty grotty after the most fabulous weekend away with the girls in Claxby, crafting till the wee small hours and living in our pyjamas, and it wasn't the wine that did it!

Still, got this done finally so I may as well post it!  The theme for TT this week is Christmas Carols or songs so I thought I'd do something with some music scores I have and chose Silent night to use on my card.

I started off with a kraft card blank and inked the edge with TH Tea Stain then did some faux stitching round the edge. I tore the part of the music score I wanted, inked that and stuck it to the card. The Oval was cut with a spellbinder nestie and inked then stamped with the little stars and the rose and holly was cut on the robo crop from designs I did a few weeks ago. A quick spray of glimmer mist on the rose and it was ready to stick down.

The sentiment stamp is one I got from a seller in the US for next to nothing but I'm sure it's and inkadinkado one. If you can confirm that do let me know, I hate not being able to file my stamps properly!

The team over at Tuesday Taggers have dun us proud again and produced some wonderful work and I'm sure there's still a lot of you need to make Christmas cards, so come and join us this week and give us a reason to come visit your blog!

Hope you're having a good week

x Michelle

Absolutely lovely Michelle. Love the aged look you have given it and the sentiment stamp is great. Sounds like my kind of weekend!

Every so often someone does something that stops you in your tracks and reminds you why you follow their blog. This is one such piece just beautiful.
