Today we will play with monochrome – in complete contrast to last session we will use sketches again but keep to a classy black and white colour palate.
All you will need to make 2 cards will be provided – bring along some of your own cardstock an papers to continue playing with our stamps

Will be a stampin up event. A couple of cards and 3d project to play with and an opportunity to place an order from the stampin up catalogue. The sale-a-bration promotion will be on as well as a mini catalogue to tempt you.

Today we will be going back to playing with heat embossing making a card and box using medallion stamps. These were very popular a few years ago and can create some gorgeous results – so if you have any at home hiding in your stash then bring them along so we can revive them.
We will be looking at using mica powders and glitter today to get stunning results so be prepared to sparkle when you return home – bring any powders, H2os or mica paints you may have

Who can resist?
Now your stamping is coming on a treat time to try some different techniques – there are lots of resist techniques out there – today we will cover 2
Faux Batik and water. Create some stunning backgrounds which will make you go wow!
Just bring cardstock today as we will be using stamps and inks

So who likes to get messy??
Today we will be making all our own papers using spray dye inks and mica sprays – all you need to bring is some copier paper and a cardboard box (at least the size of your paper) to spray in! Its very satisfying making your own papers and something you can do when you are stuck for ideas with your crafting.
Bring along any sprays you may already have.

Getting the best from your dye inks
Now we have played around using inks with brushes now its time to visit some of their other properties – these inks are so versatile its easy to forget how important they are in your stash. today we will play around making backgrounds and layering the stamping over the top. Some of you will have done this with us before but no harm in having a refresher.
Just bring along some stamping card and card blanks – you are sure to want to do more and more of this technique

Clear stuff – some ideas for working with acetate. Make a “floating” card and enjoy playing with this medium.

Bleaching out – no we wont get you cleaning the loos but we will be showing you what you can achieve by using the cheapest bleach and a water brush. You will need a water brush or thin paint brush for this technique that you will only use for bleach in the future so don’t bring your best one.
We will be heat embossing again and using dark card stock so bring some along if you want to continue playing after we have made 2 cards.
