Tag Your It Challenge 1..2..3

Hi there all you lovely crafters. Been busy, busy, busy today. Posted cards off to a customer, delivered 34 cards to the shops who sell them for me, had my hair cut and created the above tag for the Tag Your It challenge. The challenge this week is to use one piece of ribbon, two buttons and three brads/eyelets. Couldn't figure out wether the one ribbon was meant to be the tag ribbon or part of the design on the tag so after looking at loads of other entries (amazing tags, take a look) decided that I couldn't decide.

The tag was made from paper from stash, stamped flowers are hero arts fashion flowers and pop petals coloured with promarkers. The ribbon I think is papermania but may be wrong. Love the ribbon so based the design around it
The tag above is one of two I produced for the previous tag challenge but chose to enter the other one cos the photo looked better. The stamps are stampin up houses and the bird is oliver twitter from elusive images, both coloured with prismacolors and sansodor. Had the sentiment stamp for years, never liked it till I used it on these tags. Isn't that just the way?

This tag and the next one I made at one of Janets classes when she was demonstrating using dye ink pads to create a background. This one was made with Tim Holz distress inks and Stamps. Love this image, it reminds me of one of my all time fave films, being there with Peter Sellars.

The tag below was made the same way using Adirondak inks then sprayed with glimmer mist and stamped with dovecrafts fairy stamp. I bought these in the sale and wasn't sure about them but am really glad I got them - got big plans for them!!Anyway best get this posted before times up on the challenge and before Al uses the mallet he's been promising to use to facilitate a good nights sleep for both of us!!

By for now
x Michelle
