Friday has come zooming here once again and can only mean one thing, got to do my stuff for DU2DS.
This weeks challenge is to use the lovely colour combo of pink and green, a digital image of course and if possible download paper. This isn't a great photo I'm afraid, I've come to the conclusion that taking them at 2.00am doesn't offer the right sort of light to get a good image!! (I'm not midnight crafter for nothing)
The card is mounted on a scalloped mount and the background paper I stamped with the freebie stamp from Creativity Live magazine then embossed with powder I had made from Lapis Lavender Cosmic Shimmer and clear embossing powder. The ratio is 1:8 if you want to have a go. It will work with any pigment powder and any clear embossing powder.
The picture is a circle cut from one of Sketching Stampers Easter Egg digi download watercoloured with poundland watercolour pencils (printed out too many and needed to use the somehow!) finished off with a little pink bow and dotty things et Voila!! Job Done!
I've noticed a few blogs listing a 'recipe' which seems a good idea so hear it is:-
Card Kanban
Mount and Dots Craftwork Cards
Stamp Creativity Life Magazine
Round Stamp Inkadinkado (Really lovin these stamps at the mo)
Digi Stamp Sketching Stamper
There were some spectacular entries last week, it was great looking at all the different ideas. Have a go lets see what you can do with green and pink!!
See ya soon, I've got loads to post but will have to wait till tomorrow when I can get enough light for a decent photo!

Fantastic card Michelle! I love your creativity in using the egg image in a different way and bet the embossing looks wonderful IRL. It's such a gorgeous design too, the scalloped square sets it all off. Have a great weekend. Chris xxx
