DU2DS Challenge Week 4 'Wings'

Well you've had the taster, now the real thing. The challenge for this week at DU2DS is things with wings and so it just had to be fairies. This little beauty was created for illustrating children's books by Elizabeth Dulemba a fantastic children's author who has kindly given permission for me to use her images. Thanks Elizabeth! I've converted it to a PNG file and overlaid it on one of Chris's daisy digi stamps then printed it out to colour. First print was too big for a card so I decided to do something else with it cos I loved how it looked. Have been downloading card sketches to make a book and thought this would be great for a cover so decorated mount board and mounted it. Coloured with prismacolors and sansodor, with some stickles and bits and bobs from stash, I will really enjoy using it!

If you havn't already, come and have a go with the challenge, it's great fun searching for digi images and using all the different media to colour them in and the is great scope for being really inventive with fairy wings! Cant wait to see all your ideas.

Off now to go and play for the weekend. Only going a few miles up the road, but not telling anyone where so my lot can't find me.

Bye for Now
x Michelle
