I Confess

Oh fellow crafters, I've gone and done it, committed the ultimate sin! I can hear your fear a trepidation echoing all over the known universe. What can this terrible crime be? No I havn't strangled the cat (or my beloved OH) and I havn't stolen a fellow crafters DS tape, something much much worse.

I've been getting the caravan ready for a weekend away and a hook came off the wall where I hang my kitchen stuff, and............I stuck it back with Glossy Accents!!!!!!! Can you believe the criminal waste of valuable crafting essentials. It was a momentary lapse, an automatic stress response. Something needed sticking well - reach for Ranger!! Will you ever speak to me again, will you ever leave lovely comments, Can I EVER be forgiven?

Lets see : (

Before this lapse I had been busy taking photos of my latest bits and bobs. Been making a few mini books to keep in for emergency pressies and a couple of cards, all made with scraps from my bits box.

This aristo cat is stamped with an Inkadinkado stamp with gems stuck on to give that superior aire.

The flowers at the side is kiddies foam border stamped with Hero arts Deco Border, the swirl is from the Basic Grey whisper set and the Purrfect from one of the mini sets from We R Memory makers.

It might sound a good idea using up the scraps of paper but it takes twice as long to make something decent out of bit

This one is made with the same stash with a bit of Kanban Paper and a Stampin Up sentiment thrown in. The Butterfly punch is an Anna Griffin one.

The mini book below is made with a pre cut card I picked up at Kanban with the cover made from mountboard covered with a pink patterned paper.
I've inked all the edges with Tim Holtz worn Lipstick distress ink and stamped the Basic Grey, Euphoria swirls, which have been coloured with promarkers.

I keep these in then type out sentiments on Safmat to put into the book to suit whatever occasion I need them for.

This is going to be for a 50th Birthday present for a friend and I've found some great quotes on the net to put in it!

Well I hope I'm forgiven for my misdemeanor and that you will understand it was only momentary madness which will never be repeated. (The blinkin things fallen off again anyhow)

LOL Michelle, well I can forgive you for your stress lapse but I don't know if Ranger can ;D. Your creations are so beautiful and all made with your scraps too, I'd say that definitely makes up for the glossy accents incident. Hugs, Chris xxx
