Basic Grey Challenge

I really loved June Houck's monochrome DT card on the Basic Grey Challenge this week and was inspired to use a monochrome background for this card. I've had the papers in my stash for quite a while but have been saving them for something special and thought I'd send this to a special friend who's finding life a bit tough at the moment.

Papers - BG Ambrosia
Stamps - BG Aura, Inkadinkado Sketchy Flourishes
Inks - Tim Holtz Distress spiced marmalade
Ribbon and Gems from stash

I'm really pleased with this card and love this style, the inspiration for which is from some fantastic work by Sarita. See some of here wonderful stuff here.

Anyway still more challenges to post so better get going.
x Michelle

This is just so beautiful Michelle - I just love everything about it. I'm another lover of monochrome and also a great admirer of my matey Sarita's work. She has a unique style of her own.
Thanks for sharing this with us at BG.
