Tuesday Taggers Tutorial & Challenge

Had a busy week this week, producing a tutorial for Tuesday Taggers illustrating making your own design paper using shimmer mists and even making your own shimmer mist! Even better this week is the sponsorship from The Craft Barn who have offered a £15 prize voucher for the winner of the challenge, we are so excited with it all!

The Challenge is to produce a card, tag and gift wrapping paper to match and the DT have come up with some beautiful sets, hop over and have a look!

I made my DT set using the papers we created during the tutorial, the products we used were provided by those lovely folk at the Craft Barn. Had a great time with my crafty friend Janet, playing and photographing our results - and here it is

The paper was made following the Tuesday Taggers Tutorial and the flowers I punched from the leftover paper, shaped and layered them and added the bead.

The recipe

Paper - Tim Holtz distress inks shabby shutters, broken china, spiced marmalade
Cosmic Shimmer pigment powder, pearlescent
Tim Holtz distress ink pads in the same colour and walnut stain
Ranger mini misters
Crafty Individuals Stamps
(All these products available from the Craft Barn)

Card and Tag
Stamps - Crafty Individuals, Stamping Up
Inks - Tim Holtz Walnut stain
Punches - Martha Stewart, X cut, Woodware, Stampin Up
Ribbon - Laura Ashley

We've had real fun with this project, nice to get your teeth into something meaty!!
Hope to see you over at Tuesday Taggers

x Michelle
