Now this had me puzzled cos I couldn't figure out how to emboss a Digi image - foolish girl!! It had to pointed out to me that I could emboss the card I used, didn't have to use embossing powder! Ok I'm a woman of a certain age, I accept that, but can't I live without this confusion for a little while each day?
I had downloaded these freebie images from the wonderful world wide web a while ago and really wanted to have a play with them. They remind me of sewing lessons with my mum and my nan when I was about 9 and rummaging through boxes full of patterns just like these!

I digress (another sign of decreasing hormones? - maybe!) back to embossing. Have recently bought a few embossing folders, one of which I used on here but very recently invested in an embossing mat so I can run all my brass embossing stencils through the cuttlebug and wow I'm impressed, perfect embossing in a fraction of the time.

I'm at it again! Can't stay on track for love nor money tonight! DU2DS, thats right, where was I....... Oh yes, their new challenge then is embossing, use embossing as well as a digi stamp on your creation this week and post it with a link with our Mr. Linky on the DU2DS blog, after having a gander at the DT cards which are really creative this week, and we'll come visit to see what you've done. The favorite part of my DT role, it's great seeing so many different takes on the challenge.

I'm away in the caravan for a few days now and from the state of this post, I need it.

See you soon

I think it's the heat affecting us all Michelle. I love your card, that embossing is really great and I remember those dress patterns too! They never quite looked the same made up if I remember rightly. Maybe it was just that I never had the same figure as the models, still have the same problems with catalogue shopping today!!!!
Have a great few caravanning days, hope the weather stays good for you.

This image reminded me of my Mum's sewing patterns too, great bit of nostalgia. Your embossing looks just right for the design.
Hope you have an enjoyable time at the caravan....I wish it was me! Could do with a break right now.
