Hello all you wonderful blogging buddies
I've really appreciated all your lovely comments over the last few weeks, they kept me going when the mojo was running low, now my cup runneth over and I'm riding high again having had a great time making my TT Tag for this weeks challenge.
This challenge somehow reminded me of happy days as a child learning to sew with my mum and my nan, running my hands through the button box and finding little treasures amongst them, odd buttons from old clothes I remembered, tatty pieces of trim, pins, needles, safety pins old brooches and buckles etc.
I wanted a change from the darker stuff I have been making lately so picked the brightest colours from my adirondak inks and coloured the background of my tag with them. Then overstamped with the same inks some little inchie stamps in the set called Zippers from River City Rubberworks. ( I think they have just one set left at the stampman.) I stamped some of the other images from the set in black and added a few bits from my mum and my nans button boxes, which I still have and still love running my fingers through.
I'm scheduling this post as I'm off in the caravan for a few days, It's my lovely Alan's 50th birthday today, so we're away grabbing some special moments in time!
Can't wait to see what you think of this tag and to see what everyone else does for the Tuesday Taggers challenge, Have fun
x Michelle

I like this , the colours are fab, the buttons are so sweet, and so tiny, such a wonderful creation.
Michelle you already know what I think about this, I love the colours you have used, so looking forward to the SECC show, so that I can stock up on all sorts of inks etc.....getting closer by the day...Hugs Avril xxx

This is certainly a bright and cheerful tag Michelle, but the buttons fill me with horror as I have a button phobia, yes I know very weird!!!
Have a great few days away.
