Tuesday Taggers in Sepia

This is the last blob I am going to allow myself, this should have posted on Tuesday of course, but failed miserably. Never mind, I'm always telling my kids to draw a line and start again so I shall heed my own advice.

So Tuesday Taggers sepia theme......

I bought this stamp of Ophelia a while ago off ebay but cant remember what make she is but I absolutely love her. Such a delicate creature!

I stamped her on white card with an old momento pad (I keep these for when I dont want a strong black image) then lightly coloured her with TH Antique linen. Made the frame by stamping and embossing a Melissa Frances frame cutting a wide surround inking with TH inks and bashing it about a bit!

The paper weight is a cheapy from poundland just stamped coloured and a ribbon fastened around then slipped into the glass. Not a brilliant photo though, it's difficult to photo shiny objects, but you get the idea?

It's a great challenge this week and everyone definately has the right stuff to have a go, if you havn't got inks why not try tea or coffee to colour your sepia, it works a treat!

Have a look here at the DT creations for some great ideas.

See you soon

x Michelle

These are both stunning Michelle. She is beautiful isn't she. Your frame is beautiful and the paper weight is an exact match. They work so well as a pair.
I shall definitely be having a go at this one although it won't be up to your standards.

I've been looking out for your post so that I can say how wonderful I think these projects are. They are both equally brilliantly done, and would also look great in my living room, so another challenge for me to try something similiar:)

We used to sell the Ophelia stamp YEARS ago, it was by a company called Stampsmith, I have always loved this stamp, she is so beautiful. I must dig her out, I'm sure I still have her somewhere!
