DU2DS Love 'n' Stuff

It's almost here, the day I watch the postie walk past our door ~ again ~ without leaving that heart shaped envelope, and watch the florist van as it delivers to number 5, number 7, misses mine then knocks at number 11.

Ain't it a shame!!!!!

It's true! my OH doesn't do commercialised gift giving, and do you know what, it really doesn't matter! I guess It's enough to know that we have what we have .............. unless he forgets to get me a box of chocolates!!  : )

Love is love though, in whatever shape it comes and those lovely Teamies at DU2DS have been spreading a little around with their designs this week, with a challenge to create something with a love (any sort of love) or valentine theme using a digi image.

I've used this image before and did have a card already made up from last year but when I looked at it I wasn't happy.  It's amazing how much your style and skill, not to mention your stash, improves in a year of crafting.
The image is a Pink Petticoat design, the grungy scroll is a stamp I made using the brushes on photoshop and imagepac, the lace is a Prima Stamp and the hearts and bits are from various sets I bought before I realised that I'd need to know who made them! I do love this saucy card and have printed inside - Come find Me!.

We had an amazing number of entries for the last DU2DS challenge and if the superb samples of the DT are anything to go by, there will be loads of you inspired to have a go. So if there is love in your life, make a little something to celebrate it and join in with the challenge.

See you soon
x Michelle

Brilliant little card Michelle, made more so by your cheeky message, Lol! Love it!

I do admire anyone who knows their way round a computer enough to use photoshop.

Gorgeous card Michelle. The layout, image, colour well just about everything about this card is brilliant.
John is fine thank you and having the wet room done has been very messy. It was the downstairs bathroom which has had to be stripped out and the floor relaid to drain the water away. Not for the feint hearted, but the builders are excellent.
