My first DT creation for The Craft Barn

I'm so thrilled to be working with the talented Ladies on the DT at The Craft Barn, but so nervous and experiencing a real crisis of confidence in case I can't live up to their amazing standards, and as a consequence am really hesitant to post ~ but I comitted to doing so, so here's my first project for them, a little altered tin

I sprayed the tin with spray adhesive and then covered it with gold leaf, finishing off with a coat of

Stuck the ribbons and button on with Diamon Glaze
Stamped Inkadinkado Heart and embossed it with Gold Embossing Powder then stuck it on with a sticky pad.

That was the easy bit

I created a template to cut on my craft robot (if anyone wants the file let me know and I'll email it to you) to cut card shapes to fit the tin (Alternatively the larger cut of the corner chomper is the perfect radius for cutting the card) ,and added the wording to them with my heat foiler.  You could of course do that on the computer and emboss the words.

Fastened them all together with ribbon

And stuck the bottom card in the base of the tin

Must  have been feeling generous that day cos I made this for my OH!!!!

So that's that. All the bits and pieces I used including the tins, are available at The Craft Barn if you click the links they'll take you right to the page!

Off to bed now must get my beauty sleep - I really need it!!
x Michelle

Oh Heck, Just checked and I need to post the next makes for The Craft Barn too, Going to have to be quick with this so here they are

Will add the ingredients list in the morning

Oh Wow, I saw this on the Craft Barn blog yesterday and was stunned by it then. It's a gorgeous tin and I bet your OH will be thrilled with it. Look forward to your recipe for the other two wonderful creations too.

Put your confidence right back up there where it belongs Michelle. You have absolutely nothing to worry about.

I saw this on the Barn blog yesterday but my computer has been playing up lately and I couldn't leave a comment then. This is STUNNING Michelle, can understand you having a wobble but your work is gorgeous. They wouldn't have asked you to be on DT if they didn't already know that you are definately up to the mark.

The cards well never seen anything on this site yet that did not blow me away. Go girl blow us all out of the water.
