Tuesday Taggers _ Christmas Tat!

Evening all! I'm late posting this week, been awake at rediculous hours of the night for the last few days so well weary today. Didn't stop me crafting with my TT blog buddy Janet (Welcome to this and that) this aft though but I did fall asleep as soon as I got home and slept all the way through Dawn Bibby on QVC!

Anyway I'm awake now and as coherant as I'll ever be so best get on with the job of posting my Tuesday Taggers design. This week our lovely Lyn wants us to use up bits leftover from Christmas.  Now don't try to deny it, we know you salvaged something from that Christmas wrapping, that's what crafters do, right!  So nows the time get it out and make that special something with it.

Most of my Christmas presents this year were wrapped with brown paper and twine and had manilla tags with holly and paper roses tags to decorate them.

I used the brown paper and the roses in my Tuesday Taggers project to make these magnetic shopping list pads.

I covered the pads with the brown paper, inked them withTH distress inks, stamped them with a crackle stamp, tied with some twine and rose leaves substituted for the holly. The text stamp is one of Isabelle Norris's stamps available from The Craft Barn.  I stuck some self adhesive magnetic tape to the back of the pads so they can be
put on the fridge.

Isn't it a brilliant idea to use up our Christmas Tat?

So now it's your turn, see what you can do with the things you salvaged from Christmas and if you need some inspiration to get you started, have a look at the amazing things the rest of the design team have made. Can't wait to see what you come up with.

See ya soon

x Michelle

Love your shopping lists, they are fab. Great idea and very inexpensive to do. The rich colours you have used are gorgeous and the roses and raffia are a perfect touch.

Hi Michelle

Just to let you know - everywhere I take my Christmas present (schools, churches etc) the children think it is 'cule'!

Thanks again!
