DU2DS Pearly Queen

Hi y'all
Its DU2DS week again (these weeks are going so fast I cant keep up!) and the challenge this week is to use a Digi Stamp (of course) and to have pearls in some way on your project. Now how you interprest that is up to you. I fancied doing a pearly queen but couldn't find any image to use so had to settle for this

She's not a pearly queen but she's very sweet, a kiddies colouring picture I downloaded many moons ago, coloured with promarkers.  The flowers and butterflies are leftover bits from other projects and I saw this card style on my travels around blogland this week. Unfortunately I can't remember where so if it was you leave a comment and claim the credit for a great multifold card.

As always the DT have made some wonderful cards, here's a little taster from Sandra's absolutely amazing creation.

Tempted?  Her Easter Collection is fantastic and is definately going in my shopping basket - hmmm could just eat some chocolate now...........

We're getting some wonderful entries lately, everyone seems to have had a big leap of creativity and it's been great hopping around to look at your work, a real inspiration!

I've had a lovely award given to me too this week

Firstly from a great blogging friend Fiona
And then from my lovely real life friend Janet

Thanks for this girls and for the nice comments which accompany it.

Apparantly, in return I have to tell you 10 things which make me happy

1.  My Soulmate Alan
2. Being with my crafting friends - such special people
3. My Dad
4. Peaceful moments
5. A quiet house all to myself
6. shoes
7. My wierd but wonderful family
8. Being near water
9. New Stamps
10. Chocolate

and I have to pass this on to five others. Now been thinking about this one. I have loved being part of this great crafting community and the special comments and support that my blogging buddies have given me have brightened my days so very much, but they already know this cos I have said so before, but I do have a few new followers and have loved hearing from them and visiting their blogs and would love to share some of the joy that this crafting community has given me so I'm going to give the award to them, go visit their blogs and say Hi for me and spred a little love.

Thanks for following my blog girls and for making me smile
x Michelle

Love the multi fold card Michelle. The colours are wonderful together and that's a really cute image. Takes me back to my colouring books as a child (too many years ago to tell!).

This is really sweet Michelle, a great image and I love your curly flowers!
Thank you for your lovely comment on my blog recently, and I'm sory to hear your health has not been so good either. Good job we have our crafting to take our minds off things!
As for the Lettepress, we are now best buds! It's difficult whether to recommend it, I bought it coz I love the designs. I deliberately haven't recommended it on my blog as I don't want anyone to curse me if they don't get on with it, but I know I will get quite a lot of use out of mine. Don't know if this helps or not!
Anyway, take care Michelle,
Love Sarita xx
