Easter begins at DU2DS !

Easter begins at DU2DS ! with some amazing samples from the DT, Im just blown away with their beautiful projects, so very sheepishly I'll post mine

The image is one of Christine's wonderful easter sketches which I chose because I just love wild primroses. When the flowers appear in spring against the otherwise bare soil, they just make me feel so joyful!  Simple mind I think!

I printed the image onto sticky canvas and painted the flowers with twinkling H2O's and the rest with water colour pencils, then mounted it onto a little 7x7cm canvas, which I stuck to the mountboard back.  I've left room at the side for an Easter sentiment as I don't have an Easter stamp - yet!

I'll bet you'll be making Easter cards at the moment so why not use some of the fabulous digi stamps there are out there and join in the challenge this week. Both Christine and Sandra from DU2DS have some lovely images!

Hope to see you there

x Michelle

What are you talking about Michelle?? This is stunning! Great idea, lovely fresh colours and fab colouring. Did you buy the mountboard already cut into a small piece like that?

Hi Michelle. This is beautiful. I love primroses too, a real sign of Spring and don't be putting yourself down as I love your little hanger. It's beautifully coloured and the BP is perfect.
I've just been admiring your mirror too. You are clever, I would just have walked past the original, but I adore what you've done with it. The colour works so well. I hope it's hanging in a place of pride.
Hav a great weekend.

Hi Michelle - absolutely love this project - the flowers are so lifelike, due to your perfect colouring. This would be lovely as a gift, and could be displayed all year round - no greeting necessary!!

a stunning piece of art Michelle, I didn't realise that it was a little canvas until I read your explanation, it looks amazing, and the flowers so real and what do you mean sheepish to put it up, it's fantastic! thanks as always for your sweet words, they're much appreciated. Chris xx
