What's that all about? Never had anything to do with this particular saint, and knew nothing about him so had a look at Wikepedia and wasn't enlightened much either. I particularly wanted to know how he became synonymous with the shamrock and good luck but the only connection to either is that he was the patron saint of Ireland. Now once I have a question - I need an answer so if any of you wonderful blogging buddies know more please do tell!!
Anyway on to the Tuesday Taggers Challenge which our lovely Teri set for us this week. Really struggled here - no shamrock stamps, no clover, no pictures of saints, no leprechauns - HELP!!
Then inspiration struck in the form of Scrapbookflair and I downloaded a St. Pats digi scrapbook kit and hastily put this together
A great kit isn't it? Even the sentiment was there thank goodness. My teamie Avril has made a card and put a lottery ticket in it and I thought this was a great way to celebrate St. Patricks day so I think I'll do the same.
I've got a lot on this week - a BIG secret but if I've got time I think I'll make a few of these lottery cards and give them to my family. Why don't you have a go and enter Tuesday Taggers Challenge while you're at it!
Hope to see you there
x Michelle

So your secret is out! (Thanks Janet) you really are a spring chicken, LOL Cannot tell you why St. Patrick is associated with Leprechaun's etc it could just be the whole Irish Celtic thing and an easy cross over for us crafters! Nether the less your card is fabulous.

It's a great card, Michelle, beautifully put together. Love that quote too. One odd thing I know about St. Pat - though he is the patron saint of Ireland, he was actually born in Scotland! (At Kilpatrick, near Dumbarton.)Your birthday tomorrow? Hope you have a wonderful day! x

Loving your St Patrick's day card - there was a QI on recently that covered some of your questions - I know he didn't come from Ireland but the rest of the trivia escape me!
