Enormous Catch Up!

Yep settle down with a cuppa cos I'm going to be here for a while!  Been pretty wrotten this week, manfully resisting the urge to down painkillers by the handful to magic away the horrendous symptoms of Fibromyalgia  and have finally given in and taken them so feeling like getting out of bed and starting to live again! I do so HATE the way I feel using the docs pills and potions but I guess if I want to be able to sit and craft it's gotta be done!

So, moaning over I'd better catch up with the things I've missed.

Before I do that, here's a little peek at the new challenge this week for DU2DS

Firstly a great bit of news, my prize has arrived from Craft Stamper for the ATC swap which I won this month, a fab prize sponsored by Crafty Individuals

Can't wait to use it!

Next the DT card which I just didn't have the wherewithall to post for Tuesday Taggers Dragons Challenge.  Was cross about this as I collect dragons and loved making the card. Never mind here it is, better late than never!

Now the final pages of The Craft Barn Mini Scrapbook Challenge

How come these photo's were all taken in the same place at the same time and this came out blue! Does this only happen to me?

Anyway last but by no means least the DU2DS Challenge for this week which is to use Flowers and Digi Stamps in your creation

I've used Christines Daisy Digi which I've used so many times. I just love how versatile it is.

I coloured the image with watercolour pencils added the stamped Elusive Images butterfly and matted the whole thing onto some Kanban card. The ribbon and flower just finished it off nicely.

That's it then, apart form doing my blogging duties and hopping over to see what you've been up to I've just about caught up. Hope you've all had a great week and have an even better weekend.

x Michelle

Sorry you've been in so much pain Michelle and really hope you're feeling better now.

Where to start on these gorgeous creations, they are all beautiful. I especially like the dragon card and at least you got it posted in time for St George's day. The mini book is lovely and the final card is so pretty and fresh looking, I love it.

Hi Michelle - well you're moan at the beginning made me think that my Friday one is along the epic side this morning (if you read it you'll see where I'm coming from) I know taking prescribed medicines isn't fun but if they make you feel able to deal with the day then go for it girl it means you can craft and what absolutely gorgeous projects you've made - I absolutely love the dragon card it's gorgeous and also loving the end of your mini book. I sometimes have the same problem - you know the one - the page is pink - it turns out orange - the colour is purple it turns out blue - I asked my other half who said it was to do with white light and then I glazed over - but needless to say it happens to me as well!

I'm also loving your spring butterfly card it's beautiful and reminds me of what a beautiful season we are in!

I'm sending you positive thoughts and cyber hugs and hope today is a good day for you

Sorry to hear you're feeling rotten Michelle. I don't think anyone can appreciate pain unless you have it. I'll tell you what I tell my lot, don't suffer if you don't have too, you don't win any prizes for being a martyr, sorry, sermon over!!
I'm glad you've been able to feel like crafting, I love seeing what you create. Your final pages are gorgeous. Have you tried adjusting the blue photo in photoshop!!

Hi Michelle. I have my own blog which is a day to day diary of my life in Spain, but am thinking of starting a second one primarily for craft topics, so I decided to follow a few first to get some ideas. I picked yours at random from links on the Craft Stamper blog, and was surprised when I saw you had won their ATC swap, as I also won it for the previous month. I am so sad that they have discontinued it.
What a busy lady you are! Your many creations are beautiful. Unfortunately the high postage charges from Spain make it difficult for me to take part in many swaps so I stick to ATCs, and spend the rest of my time making cards, and scrapbook pages, photographing local flora and fauna, and doing cross-stitch and lace-making.
I am also a great fan of the stampman team, who were my original introduction to the world of ATCs. I shall continue to follow your blog with great interest. Kate
