TUESDAY TAGGERS - Memories.

Everyone who knows me, knows how poor my memory is, and when it was my turn to choose the theme for Tuesday Taggers, I couldn't remember any of the ideas I'd had for challenges so this was all I was left with ....Memories.....or the lack of them in my case. I have very few childhood memories and the lack of memory is a coping mechanism which just cannot be selective so my smashin' friends give me a nudge when I need to be doing something and I have my electronic brain (iphone with diary, to do list and contacts apps) with me wherever I go.

My poor memory has really been upsetting me lately cos I've been forgetting to do the good stuff, so I thought I'd journal about it.

Here's the page ready for the journaling.  The background is brushed with TH inks then stamped with a crackle stamp then the images were stamped onto paper, coloured with TH again, scrunched up and stuck down.  I produced the text on the computer and with some mini alpha stamps I have messed that up, stuck it down then stamped the sketchy flourishes stamp around the edge. Now all I have to do is remember what I want to say on the page.

As always the Tuesday Taggers DT have produced some wonderful work so do pop over there and have a look. The Craft Barn are sponsoring a £15 voucher for the winner too, so you gotta remember to join in this weeks challenge!!

See Ya
x Michelle

This is absolutely wonderful - stunning! Looks just like the Altered Books I used to do and I miss that but don't have the space. Love the ideas, the design, the colours, the images - everything about it :) If it makes you feel any better, I no longer have a memory, either, lol.

Oh Michelle your pages are gorgeous I love it, being forgetful is quite distressing I find I'm much worse when I've got too much on it's as though my brain puts down everything it thinks is irrelevant - not always helpful but true. HOpe you are having a great day

Hugs

Here's another one with no memory Michelle, long or short term! If I don't write it down as I think of it, poof, it's gone!

On the other hand your gorgeous page will never be gone. It's absolutely stunning and I love the phrase.
