Tuesday Taggers Weddings

You probably know that weddings are featuring very much in my mind at the moment with Alan and I tying the not after being together 17 years and my youngest son Liam getting married in september.

My wedding has slipped into the distant past and the plans for Liam's are reaching maximum warp speed so Pats theme for the week is totally in keeping with my life at the moment.

I thought I'd show you again a canvas I made when Liam and Fizz got engaged. I made their engagement rings and when they tried  them on took photos of their little hands (for those of you who aren't aware they both have Down's syndrome)

I printed the photo and sentiment onta canvas and stretched it over a frame then added the sketchy flourishes, highlighted with a little sakura sparkle.

You cant see too well on the photo but both citrine stones were left coloured and I covered them with glossy accents which made them lok real. The butterfly is an Elusive images stamp made with fantasy film.

This is one of my favourite projects, a simple and beautiful photo of the very unique hands of two people in love and getting married against all the odds.  Two month to wait now for the big day!!!!!
HELP!!!!

Pop over to Tuesday Taggers and have a look at the splendour of the wedding theme and maybe even have a go at the challenge. The Craft Barn are sponsoring a £15 prize this week so it's well worth having a go!
x Michelle

Oh how lovely Michelle. These plans must have been afoot before I found your lovely blog. What a beautiful photo and canvas and fantastic that you made their rings. Very special!!!!

My Baby (er, nearly 30) has recently announced that she and her lovely fiance are getting married next May so ideas and suggestions are flying back and forth daily at the moment.

I can just imagine what it's like at your house.
