Only a day late this time!

Well a day and a bit I suppose. Had my hands full - of organza and lace.  Have finished 6 bridesmades dresses, six facinators, 3 waistcoats and am now finishing off the wedding dress. The cake (bought and baked by two wonderful friends Margaret and Janet) has been delivered to the lovely Lisa to ice and decorate, I've ordered the gold for the rings, and today have been holding the last of our journalling workshops with Janet. So a little tardiness is forgiveable perhaps.

What am I late with?   Tuesday Taggers of course. The theme is my choice this week and I just love to use poetry as my inspiration so thought one or two of you might like to have a go at this one too.

The stamps are some I bought in The Stampman's sale  and they are fabulous for creating scenes like this one

Painted with Adirondak inks and Starburst Stains to give a little shimmer.
The poem is by Walter De La Mare who's poetry is so full of imagery I just cant stop the inspiration leaping forth when I read them.
Here's how it goes

A fantastic poem isn't it?

I hope you prove me wrong this week, I thought perhaps we wouldn't get many entries for this one as it is an unusual challenge so come join us, take a deep breath and reach back into your childhood memories to find that poem you really loved when you were very young.

Hoping to see you over at TT this week

Crikey Michelle, are there no ends to your talents? I didn't realise you were a seamstress as well! Lovely cards, my fave is the heraldic one. (into CAS at the mo)

Wow Michelle, is there nothing you can't turn your hand to? I too hope you are going to be able to share some photos with us.

You may have been late sharing these projects but they are definitely worth waiting for. Each one is a stunner! The poem is really beautiful and I can see why it inspired you so. The other two cards are both really lovely too.

Goodness, Michelle, you obviously have multitasking down to a fine art. Not to mention being multitalented. I love the poem card (great theme for TT) and the gatefold design so that you read the poem and then open it up to see the picture. Wonderful! xx

I just don't know where you get your energy from Michelle, I think you must have arranged extra hours in the day for all the things you achieve, either that or I'm just bad at organising my day!!
Your poem card is just staggering, I love the colours of her dress and the others are very classy.
Thank you for a wondeful set of workshops, we've really loved them and look forward to doing some more with you sometime in the future. You are two very talented, lovely and generous ladies.
The cake is in good hands and smelling delicious in my craft room!!!
See you soon.
Hugs Lisax
