Pairs of Pears!

Well I racked my brain for this challenge from The Stampman for their ATC Swap and came up a blank. I'm begining to wonder wether my creative juices have dried up completely! A quick crawl of the internet, however, gave me a place to start!

Have you ever googled nursery rhymes? there are hundreds out there, some I knew, some like this one, dragged memories screaming from the depth of the childhood box in my brain and some I've never heard of before, but all of them evoke the childhood love of poetry in me!

The ATC Challenge for this month at The Stampman is, as you might have guessed, rhymes, tales and stories. So do you remember this one

Twelve pairs hanging high,
Twelve knights riding by,
Each knight took a pear,
And yet left a dozen there.

and here's my ATC
I remember this one from school - only just though!

I used
Love Letters
Adirondak inks

Tara for now

I'm glad you posted Michelle because you were brought to mind today. My daughter (who lives in Harrogate) text me to say that her fiance had taken her to a lovely village (name given) and they'd had a picnic in the car and were sat in a little vegetarian cafe waiting for some mulled wine and a piece of coffee cake (she knows how to tease me 'cos that's my favourite). I kept trying to figure out why the name of the village was so familiar as I knew I hadn't been then it dawned on me that it's where you live!

Love your ATC and that nursery rhyme is a completely new one on me.

Hugs
