A little Serendipity

I've been journalling a little lately bit this cannot really be called Art can it?

All I did was jab distress stains onto the page and then stamp some Paper Artsy stamps onto old book pages and stuck them on the page.
Just a little shading with a drawing pencil and a touch of Distress Marker and the page was finished.
The Journaling is in the circles on the splodges and reads
One day I will have a palace of my own and time to enjoy it.

I don't really want a palace just to have all the jobs in my home done and decorated beautifully. (I blame pinterest) The time to enjoy just being me in my own space would be such a luxury I would certainly feel like royalty!

Where's the serendipity you ask?

Well funnily enough I created the page before Isabelle sent us this little missive

A new Journaling challenge at The Craft Barn with this fabulous prize!
I wonder if Isabelle will let me enter??

Going to play in my craft room now

Just catching up with all you've been up to while we've been on hols, Michelle and as always you have created some stunning things.
Love your journalling pages. The splodges are great. I keep meaning to have another play with art journalling, except there never seems to be enough time in the day!!
Hope you get to enjoy that Palace one day, you deserve too.
Hugs Lisax
