Just a little bit spooky!

Craft Barn day again today and we were given proper artists medium to play with, I feel just like a real artist!

I must say I struggled with the Fabre Castell pastels to start with as they are so different from the sort of thing we crafters usually play with but after a little experimenting think I'll be buying a few more!!

Want to know how I got this fab background?
The full how to is over on The Craft Barn Blog.
You've probably got a few of these type of pastels knocking around dig em out and have a play, and if not you can buy the colours separately to try them out. There's a discount voucher to be had too so don't miss out!

To make the calendar page I used

Faber-Castell oil pastel: Burnt ochre, Cadmium orange, Black, Permanent green olive, Raw Umber
Stampers Anonymous - Tim Holtz: Halloween blueprint stamp set
Versafine ink pad - Onyx Black
Anita's Calendar Tabs

Fab calendar page Michelle and smashing colours. The only pastels I've ever used are the Pans which I suspect are quite different but you've got a lovely effect after your short practice.
