Washi Tape - it's everywhere!

I've seen so may lovely tapes around lately and been seduced by the lovely colours and patterns available but for this calender page, couldn't find just the right one so decided to make my own

I just LOVE the versatility of a DIY tape - now I can match every stamp set I own with it's own washi tape!

Of course this week at The Craft Barn I had to make my calender page so translated the idea to fit my calender colours

Here's a little peek of the page. Pop over to The Craft Barn Blog there's a step by step for making washi tape, and dont forget to say hi, there are some wonderful ideas for using paper tape all week.

See ya there

Heres what I used to make the page

Stamps - Hot Picks 1214 on EZ mount
Versafine - Imperial Purple, Deep Lagoon, Smokey Gray, Onyx Black

and the offer - perfect for making your own tape
20% off the Glue Dots masking tape

Superb card Michelle, lovely stamps and gorgeous vibrant colours. I saw some washi tape at The Glitter Pot the other day I've never used it. Is it the next big thing then ?

This is just lovely, Michelle. I always make my own tape now, it's great to be able to match it perfectly isn't it and saves on those crafty pennies too.
Hope all is good with you. F sends a big hug!!

I have been enjoying going through some of your posts and they are delightful. I have oodles of stamps, that I haven't used for sometime . . .
You are inspiring me to get them out and start enjoying them again.
I thank you for that.
I found you through mutual followers and I hope that you will become a mutual follower, too.

Hi Michelle - I keep seeing Washi Tape, but I know nothing about it . . . guess I'll have to purchase some and give it a try.
Thanks so much for stopping by and visiting. I do hope that I can convince you to come back again.
