Big Blousy Blooms

I've been having endless amounts of fun lately with the new woodware big bloom stamps. They are amazing! They come complete with a stencil and a mask which make creating these fabulous blooms a doodle.

Watch out over this week for more ways to use the stamps - I'm so excited.

This is an 8" x 8" card so you can see how big they are, but don't be fooled by the size, they can be used on very small projects too, in fact they are so very versatile. I've stamped them on everything from fabrics to card to wood and even one on a wall!

This is the project for my next workshop at Samuel Taylors Brighouse tomorrow, a fabulous card exploring 5 different ways to create a resist background, a sweet little cupcake box, beautifully designed by Janet and a napkins to go with the set. A perfect gift for a cake loving friend!

This is a similar set we made at the Roseville Street workshop last week. I wasn't sure about the Lilly, as most people relate it to a funeral but a trip to the local garden centre soon cured me of that hang up. There were some of the most wonderfully coloured Arum lilies there, such rich vibrant colours! Hmmmmm wondering what these would look like coloured with Pan Pastels?....

Ok, that's it, I'm off to play!
Happy Crafting
