To Have and to Hold

Hi all,
Sorry for the rush on the last post, thought the deadline for Dies To Die For Guest Designer Call was today and of course my addled brain failed to notice that it's only the 4th !! I thought crafting was supposed to stimulate the mind!

I've mentioned Liam's engagement before and unfortuately I'm going to mention it again, afterall it was a fairly momentous occasion and I'm sure this wont be the last time (I've hundreds of photo's to scrap)

Not long after the 'do' I took this photo of Fizz and Liam's hands, complete with engagement rings. Fizz wanted them both to have matching rings and didn't want gold or diamonds so I made them both a ring out of white gold and spent weeks looking or the right stone. Eventually they decided on citrine as they both have it as one of their birth stones so I fitted a very deep gold citrine into each ring.

I scrapped the photo last week during a crop with my super friends Elaine and Janet after messing around with the photo on photoshop and printing it on my wonderful new A3 printer. I cant remember what the swirl stamps are but they are highlighted with fine lines of sakura glitter pen. Both the other stamps are papermania coloured with Tim Holtz milled lavender and punched with Stampin up punches.
I would have liked to maintain the colour in the rings and convert the rest to monochrome but my skills with photoshop don't extend that far.

Can't seem to get away from this pink and grey theme now....... Do I have an obsessive personality - Surely Not : ) x Michelle
