Colour Create Challenge Wk 14

This weeks challenge colours at Colour Create are red, brown and cream, lucious colors which you would think would be easy to work with. Ha bloomin Ha! Spent hours on this card trying to get it right cos they (I actually made two) are for two special brothers whose birthday is today, not twins just born on the same date. One of which I didn't know existed until he discovered me on friends reunited. Isn't that just freaky!!The image is a kids colouring download which I coloured with promarkers and thought it went well with the sentiment on the ribbon. Now this is a story! I was reading a blog the other day which gave instructions for printing on ribbon. First you print whatever you want on your ribbon text or pattern then run DS tape where you want the ribbon to be printed, stick your ribbon to that, select best print on transparency and run the card with ribbon stuck to it through your printer again and hey presto co- ordinating ribbon. I can't remember whose blog it was but if it was yours then thanks so very much, enjoyed playing around with this.

The rest of the stash then is

Paper - Kanban and Dovecraft (I think)
Colours - Promarker
Dotty things - Craftwork Cards

Not a huge ingredient list considering the time it took to make. The had better appreciate it or they will no longer be special bro's!! If you take a peak at this guys they're in the post - forgot about the bank holiday!
Now time for bed I think, Got a very special day planned tomorrow.

What a fun card perfect for a brother. Wouldn't trust my printer with the ribbon, he would probably gobble it up and then spit it out.
