Dare you 2 Digi Stamp Challenge

Hi all
These fridays are coming round oh so fast and it seems that I'm not getting enough done in a day! Just been a run round the lovely Yorkshire Dales and been photographing Ribble Head Viaduct. Amazing structure when you think it was built without any of the modern technology which goes into buildings today. But I digress, should be giving you all the low down on this weeks challenge from DU2DS which is a sketch. It looks fairly simple at first glance but you'd be amazed how many different ways you can use this sketch.

I decided I'd make it really easy (ha ha) and switch the background circles to the forground of the card to make a waterwheel against a castle wall as a backdrop for this little guy. (He looks like I feel!) I found him on one of the kids colouring sites and thought he'd make a great boys card. Have a look on these sites there's loads of great images.

Oh speaking of great new images, I've just been looking at some of Chris's new designes for her shop sketching stamper and there are some fantastic sketched images that I can't wait to have a go with. I so wish I could draw!! anyway back to the serious stuff - the recipe!

Stone & Wood Card Kanban
Image Googled colouring pages
Coloured with Promarkers
Circle Stamp Inkadinkado
Twine off a local farmers hay bale!

Hope you all have a great weekend
x Michelle

Hi Michelle, your card is brilliant, so much imagination to come up with such a great take on the sketch. Love the image, I agree it's ideal for a boy's card and the stonework paper is the perfect backdrop to the little scene. Sounds like you had a lovely drive round taking in the scenery sounds like bliss. Thanks so much for your sweet words and the links, so much appreciated. Hope you have a lovely bank holiday weekend. Hugs, Chris xx
