DU2DS Challenge Sketch

This week on DU2DS our lovely Kim has put together a sketch for us to follow, major trauma for me though last night! I was laid awake until 2am knowing I'd forgotten to do something but not knowing what until it dawned (literally) on me what day it was. Id forgotten to do my DT card. Jumped up immediately and went to right the wrong!

Kim's sketch was so good though that it took me just 3/4 hour to sort it out, and here it is


I used Christines oriental blossom image from Sketching Stamper and because I was short on time, matched the background to the paper I was using and printed the image and background together. All that was left to do then was to shade and blend the flowers and lowlight the shadows a little. I'm pleased with the result too but then I love these papers!
