Swirls and Curls for Tuesday Taggers

It's tuesday again and that means a new challenge at Tuesday Taggers, this week chosen by our amazing DT member Katy from Katy's Bloggeroo, and cos she's a swirls and curls sort of girl that's the theme she's chosen. Have a look at her blog, you'll see what I mean, she does the most amazing cute cards ever!
Off I go at a tangent again! Right - Tuesday Taggers, a great response to the challenge last week with some fantastic entries and if the DT inspiration is anything to go by, it'll be just as exciting this week. CHeck em out here.

Now inspiration failed me somewhat and I really struggled to put this together but I'm putting that down to post viral fatigue! (that sounds like it might be a real condition) Did get this together though and looking at it again now, whilst it's not my best work, it's not my worst either.

I used the same technique as the Tuesday Taggers tutorial for making the paper and overstamped with swirls and curls. The Inkadinkado butterfly was stamped and embossed onto acetate, but loses some of it's impact in the confusion of lines on the photo.

Alongside the challenge this week, on Friday we will be announcing the new DT members and we've had some fantastic applicants all with unique styles and a huge variety of skills at their fingertips, it's going to be a hard week choosing from such a talented bunch.

Hope you're all enjoying this wonderful English summer.
