My this week has flown, no sooner got one DT offering sorted then it's time to do the next with very little achieved in between. I loved the challenge this week as it gave me scope to develop a little scene using an image from Sandra Dry's Bollywood collection and a freebie robot crop template from Anna who posted on UK Scrappers.
The template is fabulous and cuts like a dream, all I had to do was to add the (dare I say it) peel offs to decorate.
Saloni was produced using a little computer wizardry, I opened her in Photoshop and made the skirt and top transparent using magic eraser, then opened a lovely patterned digi paper and dragge salomi over the top of it, which left all the bits I needed to color white but created a lovely patterned fabric for the clothes, sort of digi paper piecing!
Everything else was coloured with promarkers and sakura pens, a little dolls house pot plant finished off the scene.
Thanks DU2DS, I really enjoyed this one!
There is more inspiration over on the challenge blog which is now being launched every two weeks over the summer, so pop over and have a look, I dare you not to be inspired when you see the amazing work from the DT team.
Off for a few days again now (have to placate the OH after spending hours and hours over the last two challenge DT entries) Might cost me a bottle of something nice too!!
Have a good weekend everyone
See you soon
x Michelle
