Hi my blogging buddies.
I don't know if you know but I've had a few deaths to deal with last week and Friday was the culmination of a pig of a week. The morning dawned with such promise and excitedly I went to pick up my brand new car, with the prospect of a days driving ahead of me, first to a funeral in the town I live in and then to my Aunts funeral in Sheffield, where myself, Alan and my Dad managed to make and serve soup etc to 40 people before setting off home again. What a day!
I don't generally like sending sympathy cards as there is so little one can say to someone who is grieving so thought I'd make cards which were more special wishes than sympathy, In truth I was also desperate to use some new little stamps that I bought from the craft emporium. Why is it at the least little stress (or lack of it) I reach for ........no not the chocolate anymore........the purveyors of crafting equipment with credit card in hand? Given the amount of stress I have to deal with on a daily basis, I will never be without a stamp or have any savings, but I will be much slimmer (a stone so far!)
Anyway here are the cards
I totally love the lace and the tassel stamps and those sentiment stamps are a bit different too. Quite pleased with the result!
Hope you're all having a better week than me
Love to All
x Michelle

So sorry to hear your sad news Michelle. Your cards are beautiful and although I know what you mean about sending sympathy cards, I think they are nice to look at at a later date when things are not so raw.

Sorry to hear your week has been so tough. Your cards are stunning and I am sure will be greatly appreciated. Each card I received when I lost my Mum made me cry, but it did me good. It's part of the grieving process x
