Brown Day at the Barn

Over at The Craft Barn blog they're having a Brown Day. Now what does brown say to you, Boring? Safe? Dull? I wonder..........

For me it's none of those things, it'ss Earth, Nurture and Warmth so I decided to make a card to reflect that.

I brayered a background then stamped the tree and the birds, with a computer written sentiment and an embelly or two it was an Uba quick card.
I used

Well this was a mega quick post for a mega quick card.

Don't forget to have a go at this months sketch challenge at The Barn, fab prizes to be won!

This is gorgeous! I love trees, and brown. It's a very comforting colour. I also like it when it gives a vintage look. The design of your card is beautiful, and what a lovely sentiment too. x

This is a great card Michelle, I love shades of brown on a card. Also think your 'different' work above is superb, glad you had a good weekend.

I love the journal pages above Michelle. I do envy your weekend with Dyan. I'd love to do a workshop with her and this one looks particularly good.

The brown card is far from boring. Various shades of brown and definitely amongst my favourites and this card just looks so serene.

Gorgeously Gorgeous card - I love the background. I think I'm strange in that I like the look of trees without their leaves!
