Are you seeing Red?

We are, that is 'we' at The Craft Barn. It's a red day and the DT have been let loose with that most provocative of colours. I wonder what red means to you. For me it's a touch of danger, of intensity, and maybe even seductivness, not on this card though.

Fussy as it is, it feels pretty earthy to me.

I've been seeing all these easel cards around and resisted jumping on the bandwagon, but have finally succumbed. They are such a great format and extend the amount of craftable area tremendously. No wonder they are so popular.

The stamp is an Elusive Images Stamps: woodland Design a tree and I've brayered a background with Adirondack Ink mountain rose , terra cotta and espresso then stamped the tree with a black Versafine ink pad. The circles were cut with  Nestabilities.

I think I might try one of these cards again, especially after seeing my friend Debbie's amazing work on the front of Craft Stamper

Pop over to her blog and have a look at some of her fantastic creations and while you're there say hi and make her day even more special!

Off to finish the cleaning now!

Wow Michelle do I gather that the card above is an easel card? I've not seen one done in circles before it's absolutely gorgeous and loving how you managed to make red earthy!
