Culinary Crafting!!

Can you think of any better combination than cake and crafting?  No?  Neither can I, and I got to play with both for my lovley crafting friend Georgina on Sunday.

Janet (Welcome to this and that) and I set up a surprise 60th birthday party for her and I got to make a cake.

As you can see I didn't let the fact that I had to spend time in the kitchen, stop me from enjoying a bit of stamping!  Lavinia Stamps and crafty companions fairies were put to good use once again!
And no I didn't use distress inks!!  I found some cake colouring felt tips at the cake decorating shop and thought I'd have a go with them

I'm quite pleased with the results despite the mistakes and later this week I get to eat the cake too when we pop over to Richmond to visit Georgy Girl and take in a shopping trip to Graphicus!
What a lovely way to spend a day.

Now the question is - does this count as altered art?
and - which challenge will it qualify for?
LOL

Have a go at this girls, it's great fun and you get to eat it after - BLISS!
x Michelle

This is amazing!
I am in shock, No that you are not talented to do this, but the fantastic scene you have created here! I think you should enter it into every challenge going, who cares if it dont fit... let every one see it!

Well you can't beat this Michelle, stamping and cake, it's amazing and even more amazing what you can find to do with cakes these days, I love it!! Great that you're coming down for the Craft Barn Extravaganza in June, it'll be lovely to meet up with you. Not sure what I'm doing yet but no doubt some kind of colouring :D. Have a lovely evening.
