A great theme for the challenge at DU2 this week as it has given me the opportunity to play with Christine's wonderful Fusia image which I have coveted for a while now!
Stunning isn't it!
I've been playing around with different ways of creating backgrounds and love the way this has turned out. I painted the flowers with TH distress inks after printing out but the image was very stark against the background so i wanted to soften the whole thing. I brushed mustard seed over the centre of the image, then brushed barn door around the edge and I love the softly muted look it gives the whole thing.
After trying one charm after the other I decided none of them looked right so made a wire and bead thingy myself and am fairly pleased with the result.
Have fun this weekend and don't forget to create some special moments in time for yourselves!

Another beautiful card Michelle. I've bought those colours of inks but not played with them yet. Love the ribbon and the beads and wire. A lovely rich card. Hugs x ChrisB
