I must admit, I havn't made many of these, not because I don't like them - they give an amazing area in which to display your artwork, mostly because I dont own the sort of stamps one could easily use on an easel card - or so I thought!
A challenge is a challenge though and after a huge amount of creaking and groaning of the little grey cells, and several rummages through the Stampman's amazing sale stamps, this little thing took form.
The background colour was brushed with TH inks then I stamped the lace with Tea Dye TH inks and added the gems. The rose was stamped then painted with Adirondak inks then the lowlights painted with starburst stains which gave the whole thing a rich glow.
I made it for my lovely friend Janet's Birthday on wednesday, hope she liked it!
