It's Tuesday!!!!

So straight on with the Tuesday Taggers challenge this week. Our lovely resident Goth - Lyn has chosen the challenge this week and in true gothic fashion has set us the challenge of making something - anything using lots of lovely black.

My eldest son is having a tough time at the moment, fighting his demons, so I thought I'd make a card to give him a little encouragement.

He actually said this to me many moons ago and it's something that has stuck with me since and is something I measure myself against. If I am being the best I can be I know that all is well (unfortunately there is always room for improvement) lol.

So the papers are Prima Pulse, the stamp elusive images, the letters a TH mask and the tag stamp paper artsy. I've made the 'love you more' into love you 1 more and on the back of the tag put than that. A game we used to play when he was little. I would say I love you 5 billion billion and he would say "I love you one more than that!"

If you have young children, treasure these moments, they are what makes life worth living!

Ok lecture over and time to play.  Come join us at TT this week, we had such a blast looking at all the entries for last weeks challenge and for a little inspiration have a look at the DT's work

big hugs and gentle thoughts
x Michelle

Hi Michelle Your card looks great. I bet your son will be pleased with it. I have a little grandaughter and I am treasuring every single minute spent with her. She brings me so much joy she's 2. My son and girl friend are having problems. I make the most of every minute spent with her as if it was my last. They grow up so fast. x Hugs ChrisB

So sorry one of your 'babies' is having a rough time at the moment and I'm sure he'll appreciate your wonderful card.

My lovely late MIL used to say 'When they're little they make your arms ache and when they're big they make your heart ache' and how true I think that is because it's more difficult to help in a practical way when they are older. We can still be there with a willing ear to listen and arms to hug though.

I have my Daughter and 2 and a half year old Granddaughter coming to stay next week - it'll be bedlam but bliss!

Hugs

Love the card - but love the sentiment behind it as well. Yep - I think a lot of mum's will identify with your little story. Makes it all the more special. Hope that tunnel isn't too long for you and yours.
