These days before CHristmas are getting fewer and fewer so I guess I'd better get going with my pressies and cards so The Stampman's challenge this week works really well for me and I hope it fits with what you're up to too!
I used
Ive been having a play with starburst stains and moonglow embossing powders and just love the iridescence of them. You cant see so well on the pic but the shine is lovely and the Icicle Creek set lends itself so well to a Christmas theme.
I made the papers by just spraying the stains onto white cardstock and leaving them to dry. The purple card was embossed with the stains before colouring and the multi was embossed with detail white after the stain was dry.
Teamed with the Snowflake stamp set (in the sale at £10 at the mo) they make a really lovely card.
Hope to see you on the challenge blog
x Michelle

Super cards, love your colours and backgrounds
Love these two cards Michelle. Snowflakes are just so pretty and the icicle creek set is just about my favourite (and the first one I bought).

Hi Michelle. I hope you've managed to get your computer sorted. It's a real pain when they play up isn't it.
These are gorgeous Christmas cards. I love the unusual colours, makes a lovely change from the usual red and green. I love playing with starburst stains for backgrounds, they blend so beautifully don't they.
Hugs Lisax
