Stampman in the Orient!

Oh I wish I was!
Could do with a little warmth and sunshine this week, feeling the lack of it! It doesn't help spendoing my days closeted in the craft room though but it's been soooo difficult tearing myself away from my craft, I've had so many exciting ideas.

Here's a little thing I've been playing with, a bracelet using oriental embellishments and beads from the shop

I've used

and held them all together with a macrame band made from waxed linen thread

here's a close up of the style stone beads

They are stamped and embossed then painted with alcohol inks, a lovely technique if anyone fancies having a go at miniatures.

So the challenge for the next couple of weeks is to make something oriental then all you have to do is pop it on The Stampman Challeng Blog. There's some amazing inspiration and a huge variation in ideas so do go and take a look. I'm certain it'll inspire you to have a go.

Hope you have a great weekend
x Michelle
