One for the Girls!

Well this roller coaster life of mine continues and whilst I've had no crisis this week I've been suffering the effects of them with a lot of pain with fibromyalgia so been lying low a bit! Still the sun has been shining and I've been surrounded with love (both from the OH and from lovely friends) so life is good!

Our lovely Ildiko from Try it on Tuesday has set us the challenge of making a Tag which features a woman somewhere on it and as its around international womans day I thought I'd wave a flag for womens rights with my tag.

She is a lovely stampsmith stamp I've been waiting to use and as she's so beautiful I thought she needed very little doing to her other than a little colour added to the dress and a few bows.  The slogan is a suffragette slogan which I thought was pretty apt for the tag. Isn't she a stunner!

We had some wonderful entries last week, I was stunned with the quality of the entries they just get better and better! Hope you can join us this week.

Now remember last week when the challenge at Try it on Tuesday was to produce a card inspired by a song?  Well I thought I'd been oh so clever by using my one and only magnolia stamp to make this

I even showed it to my teamie, Janet cos I was so pleased with my first attempt at colouring a tilda stamp and she destroyed me in one fell swoop!  "It's lovely" she said "but this weeks challenge is a card!"

So here's Thumbellina (or should that be Thimbellina) a week late!  Serves me right for showing off!

Hope you enjoy her as much as I enjoyed making her!
Much love and sunshine
x Michelle

Sorry to hear you're a bit under the weather, Michelle. Hope a good rest puts things right as well as this beautiful sunshine.
Your tag is stunning, what an amazing image and your Tilda is so cute. I love her even if she isn't a card.
Take care and big hugs
