I do love being a fairy!

Did you see Isa and Christine's tutorial over at The Craft Barn yesterday?  Two more ideas for using gesso that you really need to see. Isa shows how to heat gesso to make the most fantastic flowers and Christine's tutorial demonstrates how to use gesso as a resist with wonderful results.

I've finished off today with different ways to use gesso as a base coat, texture and to give different ink effects.
Here's a wee peek using one of the techniques.

This finishes off the gesso tutorials and now it's time for you to have a go and maybe join in the new challenge.

We've got a bit of a celebration going on too at The Craft Barn, having gained 500 followers. In appreciation Sandy has put together this amazing Craft Barn Candy so make sure you do pop over and have a look.

See ya soon

This is stunning, Michelle, worthy of being framed on hung on the wall. I must check out the gesso tutorials. I only ever use it as an undercoat.
