What's the most scary film you've ever seen?
Poltergeist, Alien, Psycho???
The first scary film I ever saw, and the most terrifying was Alfred Hitchcocks, The Birds. I sat glued to the TV unable to stop watching but terrified. I think perhaps because Hitchcock is a master at making the everyday disturbingly strange.
It was with this in mind that I started the project for The Craft Barn Wishing Well

Having started playing with Dreamweaver pastes I couldn't stop experimenting to see how I could use it in different ways
This one I particularly enjoyed. I love the way the dreamweaver paste has taken the colour of the TH distress inks, Looks like crazed porcelaine. There's a tutorial on The Craft Barn Blog followed throughoout the week with more amazing samples and tutorials from the rest of the DT, so if, like Anne, you're at a loss as to how to use your dreamweaver pastes, there's a mine of inspiration to be had at a click of a mouse!

Oh yes those pastes really do soak up the inks while there is still moisture in the inks. Great work.

Fabulous techniques Michelle, the plaque is my favourite.
Absolutely WOW! projects Michelle. I love everyone of them but especially like the crackled dressmaker's form.

Brilliant projects Michelle. Got to agree with you that The Birds is really terrifying. I studied Hitchcock at uni so had to watch most of his films of course - the course was appropriately entitled 'Thrilling Audiences':) Despite that I particularly like the row of birds stamp in the 'fears & dreams' hanging. Ohh I love this paste technique (never heard of dreamweaver paste though) it gives a wonderful texture. I definitely feel Hitchcock in your first card... was for me also the first scary film... brrrrr
