Lovin' Ink in March

Well march sees us hosting another Craft Retreat in the Yorkshire Dales and we have been busy planning menus, ordering food and altering books to show you just a hint of what we will be doing all weekend.

These uninspiring books have been given a little brush up to start a new life of their own.

Such fun to be had with Arnold book and a Stanley knife, although I did have to take a deep breath and a gulp before I attacked the old tomes.
Check out the Lovin Ink blog to see how Janet has altered hers!
Hope your having a great week
X Michelle

Hiya Michelle.
Gorgeous project, I don;t think there is anything wrong with giving an old book a new lease of life do you?
I am gutted that Angie and I cannot join you on March 2nd, I have to pop into Hospital for a minor op.
Hope to see you and Janet soon.

Just beautiful! I think I would spend an absolute age trying to find an old book that was not a good read, though!

Oh, wow! What a transformation! And much better to upcycle unwanted books this way than for them to end up in landfill sites :) Elizabeth xx
