Sunny Days!!

Or maybe not!  When I settled on this challenge I had dreams of warm sunny days spent in my garden, soaking up the ambiance and listen to the wonderful summer sounds, oh what a dream that was. Instead today we have a dull overcast day, threatening rain (again) to cold to go out and sit in my soggy garden.

Still, perhaps Tuesday Taggers challenge will bring a little sunshine into your lives. We want you to imagine the beach in the Bahamas and create masterpiece of delusion with paper. Any thing you want to make around the theme of sunshine.

I bought this Bo Bunny set a few months ago (whilst I was still dreaming!) and have finally opened the packet and inked it up (why do we do it?)  A bit of brayering and black ink comes together a treat dont you think!

I wanted to have another go with a door stamp I got from The Stampman a few weeks ago too so carried on playing and made this

I'm not happy with the stamping inside the card, I think it looks a bit twee! I really love making things with a touch of realism and this just doesn't do it for me but it was worth showing you just to give another interpretation of a sunshine theme I guess.

Hope you find time amongst your summer revelry to have a go at this weeks challenge and help fill our lives, and yours, with sunshine.
x Michelle

This is brilliant my friend -your sense of perfection is clouding your view of your gorgeous work - if only you could see the beauty we see in your "not quite happy about this" projects xx Cakes are baking :0)

We must be in the minority here in Notts. We've been having some lovely weather although, as I don't like it hot, some days have been a tad too warm for me. We had quite a bit of rain in the night but today has been glorious ..... again! Sorry to make you envious Michelle. You can come and sit in my garden if you like, Lol!

I love the vivid colours on all your creations on this post including the door.

Hugs
Lesley Xx

At last I can leave a comment! For some reason this page keeps coming up blank, but I'm here now!
Loving the sunshine card - could do with some up here. Been grey and wet all summer, with the odd few hours of sun now and again.
Also loving the Door card - liking the 'surprise' element inside.
And loving the new Fushia card too - fabulous rich colours.
Hugs,
Teri x
