OOooh - what a romantic scene Michelle - I was right there with you (well, not really, but you know what I mean)! Love the beautiful designs on the eggs, and you've just reminded me that I have a set of Tapestry peg stamps - must try and find them. Hugs, Sylvia xx
What a lovely picture you paint Michelle. Croissants, coffee and good companions. Mmmmm. Had to laugh though at the madness that followed. You sound just like me today, sitting with a coffee, minus crossants and companions but still enjoying the sun and thinkng exactly the same thing and dashing in for my camera only to retun to cold coffee some 15 mins later. Mind you, you've definitely got the better setting and Wow!!! I love, no adore, your eggs. What a brilliant idea, they look so real. I woud never have thought of gessoing Polystyrene. I have some tapestry stamps too but never know what to use them for. Think I'll have to go shoppping for some eggs tomorrow. Hope you went back to the coffee and croissants!!! Have a great retreat, I hope the sunshine lasts for you. hugs Lisax
You have told a super tale of the mornings escapade. A touch of the sun it sounded like to me. However the eggs are gorgeous, it was a perfect place to photograph them. xx
A girl has to do what a girl has to do Michelle and you were so right to do so, perfect setting for your fabulous eggs. Hope you both enjoyed your breakfast.....lucky girl... Annette x
Your lovely story made me smile, Michelle! But I can see why you had to interrupt your breakfast! Your eggs are absolutely gorgeous and certainly deserve their beautiful setting. Lynne x
Ha! Ha! What a way to start the day, eh? It's been a beautiful one too and your eggs are gorgeous as well. Love how you decorated them Michelle and ought to have a go at this for my little granddaughters. I have quite a few sets of those peg stamps.
Lovely project, lovely setting, and lovely thought to spend some time sitting in the sun in the garden (and with croissants)... When I think that we had another 5 cm of snow today and the windchill will go down to -17 tonight... nearly makes me miss England LOL hugs isa x
